Slide1 Because The Consortium for Leadership Development was built upon a foundation of multiple perspectives, we are able to build leaders by allowing access to the dynamic and accomplished executives of the African American Business Leadership Council (AABLC), which serves as our advisory board. AABLC executives encompass various backgrounds and are therefore committed to presenting leadership competencies from more than one viewpoint. This allows our participants to hear and subscribe to philosophies concerning personal and professional development that they would not normally have access to. It also gives participants the foundational building blocks necessary to learn and grow through three main avenues: career development planning, coaching and mentoring opportunities, as well as participant networks. Supporters of the Consortium for Leadership Development are comprised of current and former executives from the following organizations:
  • Anheuser-Busch
  • Birdet Price, LLC
  • Centene Corporation
  • Edward Jones
  • Enterprise Rent-A-Car
  • Express Scripts
  • Furr Strategic Group, LLC
  • FUSE Advertising
  • Harris-Stowe State University
  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
  • KRW Advisors, LLC
  • KWAME Building Group
  • Monsanto
  • St. Louis American
  • World Wide Technology
By tapping the unique expertise of diverse executives, organizations gain access to novel ideas, a broader recruitment base and new avenues of opportunity. Through innovative relationships, we foster opportunities for mid-tier business leaders that have been underserved by traditional opportunities. In partnership with the AABLC, The Consortium for Leadership Development encourages excellence among participants.
